A Georgetown, Texas community Lifestyle Director was awarded the gold national award for Lifestyle Director of the Year by the National Association of Home Builders in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lifestyle Director Dana Thomas Lamoureux of Wolf Ranch by Hillwood, a master-planned new home community located in Georgetown, won the title. Lamoureux was named the winner at The Nationals Awards on Tuesday evening out of an already vetted group of Lifestyle Director finalists eyeing the gold from around the nation.
Lifestyle Programs and Lifestyle Directors have become a popular offering of many communities by new home community developers and often a staple in senior living communities. Lifestyle programs offer regularly scheduled events, classes, organized fitness activities, and more for the residents that live within the home community and are part of the community’s homeowners association. Hillwood Communities is one of the new home master planned community developers that believes in lifestyle programming and has lifestyle programs and onsite lifestyle directors at multiple master planned communities throughout Texas in the Austin, Houston, and Dallas metroplexes.
Hillwood Communities believes creating community within these new home neighborhoods is a critical piece for its residents and the overall success of newly developed and actively selling master-planned communities like Wolf Ranch. The lifestyle directors and programs at Hillwood’s communities are managed by First Service Residential, a homeowners association management company, through the homeowners association and program hundreds of onsite events yearly for residents to enjoy.
Lamoureux led an exceptional year of lifestyle programming for the Wolf Ranch community. In 2022, the Wolf Ranch lifestyle program featured 444 events throughout the year. “Our lifestyle events are a way for our residents to really connect. We help create that connection with neighbors through block parties, live music on the green, star gazing, craft classes, educational programs, parades, fun runs, themed events, and community festivals. We want them to have those everlasting memories and friendships” said Lamoureux.
While residents don’t attend every event, they can pick and choose events they wish to attend, fit into their busy schedules or lifestyle, or may be a specific activity of interest. Having events and activities preplanned and arranged for residents adds to the convenience of the lifestyle residents buy into when choosing to live in one of these communities.
While this is Lamoureux’s first national title, Lamoureux and Wolf Ranch by Hillwood were previously recognized on the regional level winning two Lifestyle Director of the Year titles and Lifestyle Program of the Year at the MAX Awards by the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin.
Wolf Ranch by Hillwood Communities, A Perot Company, is also the community national homebuilder Lennar announced earlier this year as the site for its upcoming visionary 100-home community of 3D-printed homes partnered with ICON, a construction technologies company. Located on Highway 29 just west of I-35, the Wolf Ranch community is planned to have approximately 2,250 new homes at full build out completion.
