Which Schools are Zoned for Wolf Ranch?

So you’re thinking about moving to Georgetown, TX, perhaps to the picturesque Wolf Ranch community! Of course, one of the obvious questions going through your mind is: “How are the schools?” Well, look no further! We’re here to guide you through the schools zoned for Wolf Ranch.

Wolf Ranch by Hillwood is a part of the Georgetown Independent School District (ISD) which currently serves upwards of 11,000 students. Georgetown ISD features 9 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, and 3 high schools. However, children at Wolf Ranch will attend the following schools, each of which are located within 10 minutes of the community:

Wolf Ranch Elementary School

Wolf Ranch Elementary School just recently opened in the Fall of 2020 to help accommodate the growth of Georgetown ISD’s rapidly growing Southwest quadrant. Students who were previously zoned to Pickett Elementary school transferred to Wolf Ranch Elementary when they opened in the Fall.

This state-of-the-art facility, located onsite in Wolf Ranch South Fork, is designed with young learners in mind. Classrooms include multiple collaboration areas adjacent to movable partitions that help divide the rooms and form the space in a creative way.

Wolf Ranch Elementary School provides classes for upwards of 800 students and features a variety of versatile spaces for students such as an art room, kitchen, dining hall, music room maker space, stage, activity space, and a dedicated community space.

Currently, Wolf Ranch Elementary School is not included in Georgetown ISD school ratings as their first official school year has not been completed.

Tippit Middle School

James Tippit Middle School is a public school that is a part of Georgetown ISD. With an astounding 11 to 1 student-teacher ratio, Tippit Middle School was rated a B- in their Overall Niche Grade which rates schools based on their academics, teachers, and diversity.

Built in the 1980s, Tippit Middle School is the oldest middle school in Georgetown, TX. However, over the past few years they have undergone massive renovations that took their multi-building campus and transformed it into one big, enclosed, modern building. The new space is designed to enhance the learning environment and includes flex learning spaces throughout the building that allow students and teachers to collaborate more.

In total, Tippit Middle School provides classes for around 530 students from 6th - 8th grade.

East View High School

East View High School is a comprehensive UIL 5A public high school that operates as part of Georgetown ISD. With an average student-teacher ratio of 15 to 1, East View High School still scored a B+ on the Niche grading scale. This scale rates academics, teachers, diversity, college prep, health and safety, and clubs and activities all of which scored either an A or a B.

This is an impressive score especially considering the school teaches around 1675 9th-12th grade students per year.

Wolf Ranch by Hillwood
